THIS MONTH WE JOURNEY TO LYON
Since the days of Catharine di Medici, Lyon has been a centre of high gastronomy and this February we take its aristocratic cuisine to new heights, encompassing the incomparable produce of Bresse and Charolais, game from the Dombes, lake fish from Savoy, spring fruits and vegetables from Drôme and Ardèche, and wines from Beaujolais and the Rhone Valley. Expect dishes such as Pot au Feu, Cod Lyonnaise, Poached Salmon Quenelle and ‘Apple Matefaim’. It promises to be a truly noble month and we’re offering a three-course lunch for £37 per person.
